The future of flying

The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has published a report in cooperation with young people think tank ThinkYoung called Expanding Horizons: How Millennials see the Future of Business Aviation. The survey asked young people aged 18-25 in Germany, France, the UK and Switzerland about mobility, business aviation and the future of sustainable personal air transport. Royal Jet named “World's Leading Private Jet Charter” at World Travel Awards

Abu Dhabi-based Royal Jet has been awarded the title of “World’s Leading Private Jet Charter” for the fifth time at the 2011 World Travel Awards held in Qatar on January 11.

The company’s CEO, Shane O’Hare was on hand to accept the record-breaking award along with Vice President for Commercial Fahad Wali, Director of Protocol Nasser Khamis Al Dhahri and VIP guests His Excellency Juma Rashed Al Daheri, the UAE Ambassador to Qatar, and Faisal Al Ali, Diplomatic Attache at the UAE Embassy in Qatar.

“We are very pleased to receive this award,” said His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan. “This award proves that Royal Jet is indeed a luxurious and globally-known brand and that it is the best, not only in the Middle East, but in the world. This award is a fitting and deserving gift for all the hard work and dedication provided by all our staff.”

“To receive such an award for the fifth time in a row is indeed a rare achievement!” O’Hare said. “The perseverance and commitment of Royal Jet and its extremely dedicated team of professionals, guided by the wisdom and full support of the members of our Board of Directors led by His Excellency Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, have enabled us to deliver nothing but the best and most luxurious global private jet charter service to be able to accomplish this feat.
