FBO Riga has opened a new MRO line station at its Business Aviation Center at Riga International Airport in Latvia, in partnership with SOLINAIR, a certified aircraft maintenance and repair service provider, and Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services.

The line station began operations on January 10 and provides a wide range of services including daily, weekly and transit checks, tail-to-nose inspections, component replacements, scheduled and non-routine maintenance, and AOG support, etc. The maintenance and repair services are provided by SOLINAIR’s EASA Part-145 certified professionals.

The line station operates 24/7 and provides maintenance services for different types of business aircraft including Bombardier CL 604/605, Global Express/XRS/5000/6000, Embraer Legacy 600/650, Challenger 800/850. Upon customers’ request the services range can be extended to Gulfstream 650, Dassault Falcon 7X, Airbus ACJ, Boeing BBJ, as well as other Gulfstream, Dassault, Bombardier-Lear, Cessna and Hawker models.

“Over the years FBO Riga has proved itself as a reliable partner with a flexible customer-centric approach. We pay highest attention to the needs of every customer and partner – and the launch of the line station at FBO Riga was motivated by the growing demand for technical support and maintenance services in our business aviation center. We are grateful to our partners – Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services and SOLINAIR – for their great support in this project and are glad to provide our customers with first-class MRO services for the most popular types of business aircraft operated in our region,” said Roman Starkov, co-owner of FBO Riga.

“FBO Riga has the entire infrastructure for aircraft technical maintenance works including the most modern and fully equipped hangar and the adjoining parking areas. Moreover, Riga is well located for the CIS countries, Russia and Europe. We are confident that the launch of the line station at FBO Riga will help our customers reduce MRO costs while getting the highest quality services from a reliable partner,” added Leonid Gorodnitski, co-owner of FBO Riga.

FBO Riga opened in September 2015 and consists of a luxury boutique-terminal, the high-tech heated hangar (90,500ft²), a ramp, parking area and a helipad. For more information, read our news story in the October 2015 issue of Business Airport International
