Gulfstream Aerospace has announced the 300th customer delivery for the Gulfstream G280 fleet. The milestone delivery was completed at Gulfstream’s Dallas-Fort Worth area facility in Texas, where the aircraft had been outfitted.
As of May, the in-service G280 fleet has accrued more than 575,000 flight hours and completed nearly 358,000 landings.
The aircraft has a National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) dispatch reliability rate of 99.88%.
“Achieving this delivery milestone reinforces the continued strong demand for the G280,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “Known for its unique combination of speed, performance and cabin flexibility, the G280 remains top of the super-midsize class and continues to set the industry standard.”
The G280, which has achieved 87 city-pair speed records, has a range of 3,600 nautical miles/6,667 kilometers at its long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.80.
The aircraft is powered by twin Honeywell HTF7250G engines, each providing 7,624 pounds of takeoff thrust. Its proven steep-approach capabilities unlock access to some of the world’s most challenging airports and allow customers to land even closer to their final destination.
