Air Service Basel, an FBO based at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse, Switzerland, has just been awarded Stage 1 Certification under IBAC’s International Standard for Business Aviation Handling (IS-BAH). The standard incorporates industry best practices in safety management and risk mitigation, related to all aspects of the company’s operations.

The FBO, which will celebrate 50 years of operations next year, features state-of-the-art hangar facilities, with an EASA and FAA approved maintenance organization. The IS-BAH standard is a joint program between IBAC and NATA.

Claudio Lasagni, CEO of Air Service Basel, said, “By adopting the IS-BAH code of best practices, our FBO and ground handling teams demonstrate their clear commitment to provide safety excellence and highly professional services to all of our clients. We are proud that our FBO was awarded this industry-leading certificate.”
