Gary/Chicago Airport (KGYY)-based Coleman Jet has received authorization for worldwide Part 135 private air charter operations from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The aircraft management and private jet charter business was granted the authorization after an FAA audit of the company’s international operations procedures.

Ed Fares, director of operations for Coleman Jet, commented, “We are very excited to receive the authorization from the FAA allowing us to deliver our exceptional level of service worldwide. The ability to fulfill our customer demands for overseas missions will open major doors for us.”

Coleman Jet currently has a 16 passenger Gulfstream IV and a 12 passenger Challenger 601 capable of flying across the Atlantic, and will be adding two more Gulfstream IVs this month. Additional aircraft currently available for air charter include a Nextant 400XTi based in La Porte, Indiana (KPPO), and a Lear 55 based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (KFXE).

Coleman Jet is the aircraft management and private jet charter division of B Coleman Aviation.
