Global FBO Consult receives I3SA recognition

Global FBO Consult, which specializes in the support of airports, FBOs and ground handling companies, has been appointed an I3SA (International Standards Support Services Affiliate) to the IS-BAH (International Standard for Business Aviation Handling) program. Launched by IBAC (International Business Aviation Council) in 2014, IS-BAH is itself a recognition that a company has adopted high safety standards and best practice procedures.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, Global FBO Consult has offered its services for more than 30 years, with the last 10 also catering to business aviation. Its I3SA status shows that it is a supporter of the IS-BAH program, encouraging FBOs to enrol in the assessment procedure and helping them meet the requirements.

Joe McDermott, senior consultant, Global FBO Consults, said, “The IS-BAH program offers a solid, achievable SMS platform designed for our industry, and if combined with a robust training system such as Safety 1st, the total package can deliver a safe, efficient and cost-effective operating environment for ground operators and aircraft companies alike.”
