Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO facility at Vienna International Airport, Austria, has received approval from the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) to provide line and base maintenance to aircraft that are N (USA) registered. There are said to be almost 500 N-registered aircraft based or operating in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EEMA) and Asia.

The premises in Vienna has a 43,000ft² hangar, and is already authorized as a Cessna service center. It also offers support for most Bombardier and Learjet aircraft, in addition to the Gulfstream GV-SP series.

Hakan Tin, managing director of Jet Aviation’s Vienna location, said, “Our facility in Vienna provides much-needed maintenance support to aircraft owners and operators in Eastern Europe, where approximately 10% of all N-registered aircraft across EMEA and Asia are based or operating.

“Vienna is a popular destination for business aviation aircraft and these additional service capabilities offer significant benefit to all N-registered owners and operators that travel in the region.”
