MAS Munich Aviation Service achieves IS-BAH recognition

MAS Munich Aviation Service has achieved IS-BAH (International Standards of Business Aircraft Handling) recognition, making it the first FBO within the GAS German Aviation Service network to receive the accolade. GAS is the biggest handling network in Germany, comprising 10 FBOs.

Developed by IBAC (International Business Aviation Council) and NATA (National Air Transport Association), IS-BAH is recognition that an operator meets demanding safety and service regulations, with checks by external auditors. FBOs offering this accreditation ensure consistency as well as the highest safety standards.

Andreas Becker, FCEO and founder of GAS German Aviation Service, said, “The safety of our customers and staff as well as a permanent improvement of our internal processes is our first priority. That is why adapting our Safety Management System to the IS-BAH standards was not a question for us. Munich is the first FBO in our network to achieve this registration and the other nine stations will follow.”
