The ExecuJet Aviation Group is expanding its African managed and charter fleets with the addition of its first Bombardier Challenger 850 aircraft, which will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Chay White, sales manager, aircraft management, ExecuJet Africa, said, “We are very excited to offer the Challenger 850 to our customers in Africa. The addition of this state-of-the-art aircraft follows a high level of interest in large-cabin, mid-range aircraft in the region. We anticipate it will be very popular, especially among business travelers wishing to reach their destinations faster, with exceptional onboard office support en route.”

The Challenger 850 has a range of 2,300 nautical miles at speeds of up to Mach 0.8. The cabin can accommodate up to 13 passengers with a number of seating configuration options for daytime and night-time flights.

ExecuJet currently has 31 aircraft in its African fleet, of which 27 are available for charter.
