Atlantic Aviation has opened its new corporate hangar at Los Angeles International Airport, the first of its kind at the airport.

The hangar measures 37,000ft², with an additional 5,000ft² of office space, and with a door height of 28ft it is capable of housing a Gulfstream 500 or Global Express. The hangar can host five Gulfstreams without stacking.

The US$9m hangar was constructed by T’Viole and a grand opening ceremony was held on April 19 to mark the start of operations.

“This hangar fills an obvious need in the Los Angles and surrounding area and was sold out three years prior to completion,” stated Steve Hirschfeld, regional VP of operations.
