SEA Prime has opened its new business and general aviation terminal, Milano Prime.

Located in Milano Malpensa airport between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, the 24/7 terminal covers a surface of 1,400m² and features a 50,000m² apron in addition to a 5,000m² hangar.

The terminal’s five lounges are equipped with a full range of services allowing all passengers of Milano Prime to use the conference centers, limousine service and concierge.

The €5m project was designed by international architecture firm One Works and built by the construction company Di Vincenzo.

The opening ceremony saw the participation of the CEO of SEA Armando Brunini, the president of SEA Prime, Patrizia Savi and the CEO of SEA Prime, Chiara Dorigotti.

“With the opening of the new Terminal, Milano Prime is ready to welcome business aviation passengers through the two entry points to the city and the region, Linate and Malpensa, with world-class levels of service, consolidating Milano’s leadership in Italy and its position as Europe’s fifth-largest city by traffic volumes,” said SEA Prime CEO Chiara Dorigotti.

The opening of the new terminal deliberately precedes the closure of the Linate airport. Due to close from July 27 until October 26 to resurface its runway, all of SEA Prime’s customers will use the new terminal at Malpensa during this time.

SEA Prime is part of the SEA Group, which manages both the Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa Airports.
