Charter flight safety standards body appoints new chairman and vice-chairman

Washington-based Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) has announced the selection of Joshua Hebert, founder and CEO of Magellan Jets, as the new ACSF chairman and Robert Rufli, vice-president and director of flight operations of Pentastar Aviation as the new ACSF vice-chairman.

“Both Joshua and Bob have been invaluable members of the ACSF Executive Committee and Board of Governors,” said ACSF president Bryan Burns.

“With their knowledge and experience as leaders in the aviation industry, they will continue to support and promote the foundation’s ongoing risk management programs.”

Hebert founded Magellan Jets in 2008 with 16 years of experience in finance, marketing, and aviation. Rufli has over 35 years of experience in aviation operations of large and small business jet aircraft.
