Atlantic begins US$9.5m upgrade project in Charleston

Atlantic Aviation has broken ground on a US$9.5m project in Charleston, South Carolina, that includes construction of a 22,000ft² hangar capable of housing up to a Global Express and a complete remodel and upgrade of its existing FBO.

The hangar construction is now underway and is scheduled for completion in February 2017; completion of the new FBO is expected by Q4 2016.

“Atlantic continues to reinvest in their facilities. This major project will be positive for the Charleston aviation community as well as Atlantic,” stated Kurt Schmidt, regional vice president of Atlantic Aviation.
