Avflight Harrisburg (KMDT) is pre-leasing space for its new 30,000ft² (2,800m²) hangar.
With a projected completion date of January 2019, the hangar will be able to accommodate ultra-long-range Gulfstream and Bombardier Global aircraft thanks it its 28ft-high (8.5m) door. It is also situated closer to the main terminal and is available for both short- and long-term leases.
The hangar is the second phase of the FBO’s development. Avflight Harrisburg opened a 5,000ft² (465m²), state-of-the-art FBO building this spring featuring a conference room, kitchen, pilot lounge, three private pilot rooms, office spaces, a catering kitchen, and more. The FBO facility mirrors the contemporary Avflight style for which the brand is known.
Avflight Harrisburg is situated on the airport field next to the main terminal and across from a new Marriott-property hotel, which is currently under construction. Guests to its facility benefit from US Customs, on- and off-site rental cars and fuel volume discounts.
