Swissport Executive Aviation has been awarded the ONDA (Morocco National Airport Authority) FBO tender and will launch the first FBO facilities at Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat and Tangier airports in Morocco. Jetex was also awarded an FBO tender by ONDA and will be the only other provider of FBO services in Morocco.

“Business aviation in Morocco has strong growth potential. We are excited and proud to support Morocco’s airports in developing state-of-the-art FBOs that will put the country in a regional and African leadership role,” said Mark Skinner, senior vice president of ground handling, Middle East and Africa.

In the first phase of the implementation, the current ONDA lounges will be managed by Swissport Executive Aviation. In the second phase, state-of-the-art FBO buildings will be constructed and fully operational within two years.

“For our Executive Aviation business line, the awarded licenses strengthen our position in the market and they will enable us to further increase our service delivery and quality for our customers,” commented Rebecca Durrer-Bolle, vice president Swissport Executive Aviation.
