Avfuel has added Ireland’s Westair Aviation to its network of fueling locations. The news comes as part of Westair Aviation’s expansion to add full fueling and ground handling services to its base at Shannon International Airport.

Though the operation just recently added its FBO business, Westair’s experienced management team has run its charter and aircraft management operation for 40 years. Westair also offers concierge service to its clients, and is on-call day and night to readily respond to any requirements.

Joel Hirst, vice president of sales for Avfuel Corporation, said, “We’re excited for Westair as it embarks on this new line of business, and excited that we get to be part of this experience as its chosen fuel supplier.”

Westair offers its customers charter services, fleet management for fixed-wing and rotary aircraft, a VIP passenger lounge, a crew rest room, a dedicated ramp, fuel trucks, hangar space, maintenance, a main-ramp office for tech stops and quick turns, both jet A1 and avgas, special rates for Avfuel Contract Fuel users, AVTRIP Points, and US pre-clearance via Shannon Airport.

Liam Murphy, operations manager of Westair, added, “Westair welcomes the Avfuel brand to Shannon International Airport and we look forward to delivering a seamless service as the only US-style FBO in Shannon to Avfuel customers.”
