South Carolina’s Columbia Aviation at Columbia Metropolitan Airport (KCAE) has joined Avfuel’s network of branded FBOs.

Among the FBO’s amenities and services are a pilot’s lounge, crew cars, conference room, flight planning room, a canteen, wi-fi, highly-trained line personnel, on-field customs and the best fuel price on the field, including Avgas fuel specials on Saturdays and Sundays.

As an Avfuel-branded FBO, Columbia Aviation also offers competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel and loyalty rewards through Avtrip. Pilots can earn six Avtrip points per gallon through the end of June.

Joel Hirst, vice president of sales for Avfuel, said, “The addition of Columbia Aviation to the Avfuel-branded Network provides a valuable service to our loyal pilots and flight departments. We are proud to be aligned with the Columbia Aviation team and are pleased to offer our customers a new gateway to the heart and capital of South Carolina.”

Nick Cochran, vice president of operations for the FBO, added, “Our new partnership with Avfuel will help us provide streamlined transactions; competitive, reliable fuel; attractive rewards; and unparalleled customer service.

“This is beneficial for everyone involved: passengers, flight departments and our own staff members. Both of our operations display a passion for service and we are excited to put the benefits of this partnership to work for our KCAE customers.”
