London Biggin Hill Airport is offering dedicated on arrival, same-day rapid result PCR tests to all passengers and aircrew in response to the government’s latest Coronavirus travel announcement.
All arrivals into the UK are required to self-isolate until receiving a negative PCR test result, regardless of vaccination status or country of origin.
London Biggin Hill customers services will present the pre-booked PCR test kit to passengers on board the aircraft. On completion of the test, the kit will be despatched for rapid processing with results available in a little as three hours.
Andy Patsalides, head of marketing, London Biggin Hill said, “The airport has been quick to respond to the new travel requirements to ensure our passengers and crew can keep moving. By providing on arrival, same-day PCR tests, we are helping our customers take full advantage of our ’Contactless Travel’ service whilst maintaining our high safety standards.”
