Aircraft servicing at Bombardier’s new hangar has commenced at London Biggin Hill Airport. The first aircraft to receive Bombardier’s attention will be a Global 6000.

The new hangar and the addition of more than 70 technicians has doubled Bombardier’s capacity at its Biggin Hill service center, providing customers in the region with extended maintenance support. The start of service is expected to see the total number of Bombardier employees on site grow to 115 by mid-2018.

Robert Walters, business development director, London Biggin Hill, commented, “London Biggin Hill Airport is pleased to be able to facilitate this important expansion for Bombardier.

“It’s great to see more jobs being created at London Biggin Hill through Bombardier’s reinforced commitment to the airport and we look forward to supporting the company’s continued success going forward.”
