DC Aviation Al-Futtaim (DCAF), a joint venture between Dubai-based Al-Futtaim group and Germany’s DC Aviation, has announced that it has signed ground handling agreements (GHA) with some of the leading operators and flight support companies in the industry.

The GHAs were signed with operators TAG Aviation and AMAC Aerospace and flight support companies including HADID, Palm Aviation, Avjet Routing, RamJet, Aviation Services Management, Skyplan Services and World Fuel l Colt/Spire Flight Solutions.

Holger Ostheimer, general manager of DCAF, said, “Putting the customer first is at the heart of everything we do. It is part and parcel of our DNA. We are extremely pleased with bringing on board these major companies that operate both internationally and regionally, and look forward to providing the highest levels of service to our customers.”

The GHA will see DCAF provide ground support, 24-hour on-site customs and immigration, conference rooms, business services, passenger and crew lounges and passenger shower facilities. The VVIP lounge offers the highest levels of comfort and privacy and – due to the FBO’s unique location at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, UAE – minimal distance to the runway. DCAF also offers line-maintenance services and passenger and crew transportation, as well as arranging catering, hotel accommodation and local transport.

These agreements reflect the growing popularity of DC Aviation Al-Futtaim at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport. We are confident that a combination of our service level and strong customer relationship will attract more and more customers to what will undoubtedly be one of the most important airports of the future,” said Paul James, sales manager at DCAF.

The DCAF hangar measures 61,354ft² and can easily accommodate multiple ACJ or BBJ type aircraft, ultra-long range business jets such as the Falcon 7X, Global Express or Gulfstream G650. Located in a prime position just off the airport’s runway, the DCAF hanger and 82,882ft² dedicated ramp parking enables 24-7 support, maintenance services and the operation of private and business jets of all sizes.
