Air Service Basel welcomes guests for Art Basel exhibition

FBO Air Service Basel supported more than 750 customers at during Art Basel week, an annual exhibition, often called the ‘Olympics of the Art World’, which took place in Basel, Switzerland, on June 13-18.

The event – which featured more than 4,000 artists from 34 countries, showcasing modern and contemporary works – is just a 10-minute drive from the FBO at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse and this year attracted more than 60,000 visitors.

Air Service Basel’s VIP handling services feature direct ramp access, limousine transfers, and pilot and crew facilities. The FBO saw an extensive range of private and business aircraft during the exhibition week this year, including six arrivals from as far as China.

FBO manager Sandrine Schmidlin said, “Art Basel is one of the busiest times of the year and even the CEO comes down on the tarmac to lend a hand sometimes. That’s one of our strength’s as a small FBO, we really take pride in giving every one of our guests a perfect experience and every member of the ASB team is involved in that.”
