Five Rivers Aviation, the lone FBO at California’s Livermore Municipal Airport located in San Francisco’s Tri-Valley area, is ready to welcome more traffic to its operation with the completion of a 43,000 square foot hangar facility.

The US$9 million hangar project adds three hangars to the FBO’s existing four, providing space for aircraft up to a Gulfstream G650 and Global 8000. The new facility features a 150-foot wide ramp, a water-based fire suppression system, doors measuring 30 feet high and 115 feet wide, 3,000+ square feet of office space, three-phase power receptacles in every hangar, standby power, drains certified for wet-washing aircraft, and high-speed fiber optic internet capabilities.

Five Rivers Aviation also constructed the hangar with heightened sustainability in mind. As such, the hangar only uses LED lights and the FBO further converted all existing exterior lighting to LED bulbs. The hangar facility also features: 70 skylights; wrap-around translucent security windows; a reflective-white roof coating; fully insulated ceilings, walls and doors; multi-bin recycling; six vehicle charging stations; and a 99 kilowatt solar system on the roof feeding the FBO’s campus.

“Five Rivers is thrilled to responsibly develop the Livermore Airport in ways that are compatible with the needs and demands of our thriving community,” said Pete Sandhu, Five Rivers Aviation owner. “By reducing the friction of conducting business in the Tri-Valley community, we are able to attract new employers and further enable existing businesses to flourish.”

Travelers to Five Rivers Aviation benefit from uncongested airspace, affording immediate clearances for takeoff and quick climbs to flight level. Precision ILS and GPS approaches guide pilots to long, grooved runways able to accommodate aircraft up to 130,000 pounds with landing waivers, while expeditious IFR releases with no idling departures help heighten efficiency. Furthermore, with its location situated outside the region’s fog belt, aviators utilizing Five Rivers Aviation benefit from the highest rate of Visual Meteorological Conditions of any Bay Area airport.

As a full-service operation, the Five Rivers Aviation team is on standby to provide comprehensive line service, transient hangar space, AOG maintenance, cargo operations, unbeatable fuel prices, upscale catering, planeside car rental services, secure parking, private boarding, hotel services, crew cars, limousines, hotel shuttles, conference and large meeting rooms, flight planning, a pilot lounge, showers, a quiet room, a theater room, complimentary golf clubs, concierge services, and a luxurious main lobby.

In addition to Bay Area business, this FBO lands guests in a desirable region with close proximity to popular local attractions, including: LEVI’s Stadium, Oakland Coliseum, Oracle Arena, Silicon Valley, San Francisco & East Bay, Livermore Premium Outlets next to the airport, more than 65 local wineries, renowned dining and accommodations, and beautiful golf courses.

As an Avfuel-branded location, Five Rivers Aviation provides customers with lucrative rewards with AVTRIP and competitive prices with Avfuel Contract Fuel. In addition to contract fuel, customers will benefit from transaction ease

when using the Avfuel Pro Card at the FBO with the ability to put everything—fuel and non-fuel items with or without a fuel purchase—on one transaction, avoiding processing fees.
