Access Oslo Executive Handling has been awarded the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) certification, making it the first in the Nordic region to gain the achievement.

IS-BAH requires the development of programs, systems, processes and procedures to meet organizational, operational, training and security requirements based on international standards and industry best practices. An independent external audit validated the entire process undertaken by Access Oslo.

Aleksander Aaland, general manager at Access Oslo, commented, “Our customers expect nothing but the highest standards when they land at OSL and entrust us with their service needs. IS-BAH certification clearly demonstrates that we deliver on these expectations, and that quality is at the heart of everything we do.”

IS-BAH is a set of global industry best practices for business aviation ground handlers, which features at its core a Safety Management System (SMS).

IS-BAH follows the structure of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Program and incorporates the NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Program. IS-BAH is the global industry standard for handlers and operators around the world to meet the upcoming SMS requirements from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
