UK-based flight support company Signum Aviation has been awarded ISO 9001-2015. Its personnel, operations, facilities, equipment and training were all individually assessed as part of a rigorous six-month external auditing process, upgrading software and appointing a designated quality manager to meet the necessary requirements. Internal audits will now be conducted on a monthly basis to ensure that the quality is maintained.

Signum Aviation offers flight planning and operations support to an international client base, handling over 7000 flights a year. The ISO 9001 standard is a mark of quality assurance and a unique selling point, showcasing the company’s high standards.

Jonathan Gill, Signum Aviation’s managing director, said, “This sector of the industry remains largely unregulated, so the ISO 9001 indicates the level of operational excellence customers can expect from us. They understand the benefits of working with a company that has achieved it. I’m extremely proud of our team’s hard work in achieving this goal.”
