Gama Aviation has announced it will be holding the inaugural Cirrus Friday event on August 28 at Fairoaks Airport, Surrey, UK, giving attendees the change to get up close to the generation 5 SR22 aircraft and discuss issues including engine maintenance and avionics upgrades.

Duncan Daines, chief marketing officer for Gama Aviation, commented, “From our base at Fairoaks, we not only maintain and service various fixed wing and rotary platforms, such as Cirrus, but we also have a full aviation design and production team that exports worldwide. Between ourselves and McLaren across the runway, we have created an epicenter of design and engineering talent – something that I believe Chobham, Woking and Surrey should be very proud of.”

Gama Aviation is a long-time supporter and service provider for Cirrus, which is one of the most advanced general aviation platforms in the world. Admittance to the Cirrus Friday is free and the event is open to flyers and non-flyers alike.
