Hawthorne to open new corporate hangar and office at Chicago Executive Airport

Hawthorne Global Aviation Services is to open a new 32,760ft2 (3,043m2) corporate hangar and office facility at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK) this month. This project increases Hawthorne’s total leasable space at KPWK to nearly 75,000ft2 (6,970m2) for business and corporate aircraft operators.

The new hangar and office facility will feature convenient amenities and services such as concierge services including lodging, catering and ground transportation; courtesy shuttle, crew and rental car availability; a passenger and pilot lounge; and US Customs.

David Annin, general manager of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services at KPWK, said, “The addition of the newly constructed corporate hangar and office facility will allow us to better meet the demands of our corporate tenants based at our Chicago facility.”
