Air Partner, a leading global aviation services group, spent January analyzing its business performance for 2016. Its European team flew over 21,400 passengers on 350 flights to 130 destinations. The Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the UEFA Euro 2016 soccer tournament in France, kept staff busy – Air Partner flew the Hungarian Olympic team to Rio and four soccer teams to France.

The company’s freight division also helped to organize the transportation of equipment to these events, including bikes and even a crucial spare part for a team at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Advantages of flying Air Partner include the ability for customers to set their own schedule and avoid busy airport queues.

Clive Chalmers, director of commercial jets UK, Air Partner, said, “Air Partner has worked with the sports industry for several decades now and has an in-depth understanding of the travel needs of elite sportspeople and their teams. Whether it is arranging tailored onboard catering suitable for athletes or organizing private VIP channels at the airport, our team knows how to make sure that our sporting clients get the best possible experience.”
