ExecuJet, a leading global business aviation operator, has announced the arrival of its first charter helicopter, a VIP configured Bell 407, at its FBO facility in Cape Town, South Africa.

The company’s focus on helicopter charters is generally the tourism market, and here will use it for scenic flights to vineyards and other attractions, but will also offer it to existing clients for their business and leisure requirements.

The Bell 407 is highly regarded for its reliability, speed and agility, with a cabin configurable according to the number of passengers. Its Rolls-Royce 250-C473 turbine FADEC engine delivers an impressive high performance, able to cruise at 140kts.

Gavin Kiggen, director of flight operations, ExecuJet Africa, said, “There is always a great demand for helicopters in the Cape Town region during the high-season, so we are really pleased to be able to offer this service to our customers. ExecuJet Africa is always looking for new opportunities to expand our charter offering in the region, and this new helicopter charter is an exciting step forward for the team.”
