Signature Flight Support’s newest FBO location at Panama Tocumen International Airport is officially open. The company, which has more than 200 facilities worldwide, has been expanding throughout Latin America and the Caribbean over the course of the year. Its licensing arm, Signature Select, added Central Charter de Columbia at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia, to its list of locations in September, with a facility in Trinidad also nearing completion.

The FBO at Panama Tocumen – one of two business aviation gateways to Panama City – measures 7,500ft², with a spacious lobby, on-site customs and immigration, a pilots’ lounge, conference room, a flight-planning area and showers, plus duty-free and coffee shops. Until the end of 2016, Signature is offering customers five times the normal number of TailWins reward points in fuel purchases as an incentive to visit the facility.

Maria Sastre, president and COO, Signature Flight Support, said, “We see Latin America and the Caribbean as key regions for growth for both the Signature Flight Support and Signature Select brands. Our flexible FBO models provide opportunities for FBO owners to join the Signature Select program or as a fully licensed Signature Flight Support location. We are keen on growing our footprint in locations that are relevant for our global customer base, and are excited to welcome Panama Tocumen to the Signature network.”
