Woodgate Aviation, located at Belfast International Airport in Ireland, has announced it will be joining the Avfuel network ahead of the opening of its new state-of-the-art hangar and office complex.
“Our hangar will allow us to welcome more customers and our partnership with Avfuel will help us to support their needs,” said David Shaw, general manager of Woodgate Aviation. “We’re eager to handle the increase in traffic with exceptional service.”
According to Woodgate Aviation, the 33,000ft² hangar is one of the most environmentally friendly, energy-efficient facilities of its kind in Europe, featuring the continent’s longest hangar doors, which operate on hydraulics. The new hangar is complete with office and reception areas, totaling a £2m (US$2.8m) private investment at Belfast International Airport.

The Woodgate FBO offers Avfuel Contract Fuel, the AVTRIP loyalty program, passenger and pilot lounges, transportation services, a conference room, flight planning and weather services, internet access, discounts on accommodation, catering, quick turns, de-icing, and ground handling. The company provides air charter, aircraft management, handling, aircraft sales, and aircraft maintenance and parts.
