World Fuel Services has expanded its supplier network with the addition of three FBOs on the West Coast of the USA.

Last week World Fuel announced that Air 7’s FBO at Camarillo Airport, which serves Santa Barbara, Malibu, Santa Monica, Westlake Village, Los Angeles and the surrounding areas from KCMA has been added to the network. The FBO, which has two 27,000 square feet of hangar space offers flight support services and  passenger and pilot support amenities for general, corporate and military aircraft operators.

Cherie Hecker, chief operating officer of Air 7 said, “We have used World Fuel with our own aircraft fleet, domestically and internationally, and these positive experiences directly translated to our decision to align Air 7 with them. We know how they treated us, so we know how they will treat our customers here in Camarillo and throughout the world.”

Steve Drzymalla, senior vice president for business aviation bulk fuel, World Fuel Services said, “Air 7’s success is directly related to their people. The Air 7 team is made up of a highly trained and skilled staff of trained professionals who go beyond their client’s expectations.

“We are fortunate to have this quality FBO as a part of our network.”

World Fuel Services also recently began supplying Aero Air at Portland-Hillsboro (KHIO), which completes the World Fuel family of branded FBOs in all major metropolitan markets in the Pacific Northwest.

The FBO  is 20 minutes from downtown Portland and located in the heart of the region’s high-tech industry and is the largest FBO operating at Portland-Hillsboro.  Aero Air offers competitively priced fuel and over 75,000 square feet of hangar space.

Matt Isley, general manager of Aero Air said, “Over our 65-year history, our clients have come to
trust our dedication to quality and superior customer service. From ramp services and fueling, to
hangaring and maintenance, we can accommodate your travel needs with our breadth of services.”

In addition World Fuel began supplying Jet West at Salinas Municipal Airport late last year. Located  30 minutes outside of the  Monterey area, Jet West’s Salinas location can be used as an alternative for operators, pilots, schedulers and dispatchers looking for a quick and efficient turnaround.

Ryan Gauger, president of Jet West said, “Our facility in Salinas is strategically located just outside of
the Monterey region known for its scenic area and proximity to Pebble Beach. We are an excellent
alternative where customers can expect the best regional fuel price with a personal touch.”

The FBOs will move over to use World Fuels’ Total Aviation Software (TAS) with avPOS credit card processing, as well as offer the network’s AVCARD and World Fuel Rewards loyalty scheme.
