The Finnish air charter and ground handling company Jetflite has announced that it now has International Standard – Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Stage III Certification.

The company participated in the voluntary annual audit to ensure that it was fulfilling general aviation best practices and to ensure that Jetlite operations are continuously improved.

IS-BAO, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), is a recommended code of best practices designed to help flight departments worldwide achieve high levels of safety and professionalism.

IS-BAO Stage III is the final and the highest level in a long-term performance-based assessment, specifically recognizes compliance with the highest IS-BAO standards and practices following an in-depth audit and rating of the Safety Management System (SMS).
