London Biggin Hill Airport opens applications for Futures Week

London Biggin Hill Airport is opening applications for its next Futures Week, designed to inspire and encourage young people interested in pursuing a career in aviation.

Following on from the success of the inaugural Futures Week in February 2022, October’s event, taking place from 24th – 28th October 2022, gives 15 young people, aged between 14 and 18, the opportunity to experience first-hand what it is like to work within the aviation industry.

Hannah Gray, STEM Ambassador at London Biggin Hill Airport said, “Futures Week is a great initiative for young people interested in a career in aviation, showcasing the broad variety of exciting career pathways from engineering, piloting, air traffic control and ramp operations available at both London Biggin Hill Airport and our many resident businesses based here at the airport.”

Successful applicants will be invited to attend an interview at the airport.
