Fort Lauderdale Executive becomes first general aviation airport to install Global Entry Kiosk

Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport has become the first general aviation airport in the USA to install a Global Entry Kiosk, which provides selected corporate and leisure travelers expedited entrance into the USA.

With the kiosk, pre-approved travelers no longer need to complete a Customs declaration before landing and may skip process lines at checkpoints. Instead, they can simply check-in at the kiosk by scanning their passport or resident card and their fingertips for verification and completing the customs declaration online. The kiosk will issue the traveler a transaction receipt and, if cleared, he or she can simply exit the facility, saving valuable time.

According to the airport, the Global Entry Kiosk strengthens the airport’s position as the gateway to the city of Fort Lauderdale.
