Traffic growth drives infrastructural development at Milano Prime

SEA Prime, which, with the Milano Prime brand, is a leading operator of business aviation airports in Italy and Europe, is exhibiting at the MEBAA the convention, from December 6 to 8th in Dubai.

Inbound and outbound traffic from the Middle East, and in particular Dubai, has historically been very strong at Milano Prime. As of today, traffic to and from the Middle East has increased by 13% vs 2019, +24% vs UAE, also due to the FIFA World Cup.

Overall traffic at Milano Prime in 2022 continues to be very healthy. In November traffic increase has been 21% as compared to 2021 and of 36% versus 2019 totalling a record of over 30.000 business aviation movements at Milano Prime.

SEA Prime will present at MEBAA the path of infrastructural development at Milano Prime Linate airport already concretely undertaken with the design and construction of the new 4,700-squaremeter (50,600 square feet) maintenance hangar started in 2021 and which is in the final stages of construction.

The hangar will be certified by the internationally recognized sustainability assessment method, BREEAM, with the ambition of achieving standards of excellence. given the attention paid to energy efficiency, sustainability of materials and to the construction phase.

Linate’s master plan calls for the construction of new hangars to meet the growing demand for dedicated business aviation infrastructure in Europe.
