Why Tulsa International Airport can be challenging for pilots and controllers

0

The FAA’s From the Flight Deck video series uses cockpit-mounted cameras to capture runway and taxiway footage and combines them with diagrams and visual graphics to clearly identify hot spots and other safety-sensitive items.

Tulsa International (TUL) is a medium sized multi-use airport, located on the northeast edge of Tulsa Oklahoma.

It serves air carrier, air cargo, business and general aviation, as well as locally based and itinerant military aircraft. This mix of pilot experience and aircraft capability makes TUL challenging for pilots and controllers.
