Ascendance has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with PhilJets to acquire five additional aircraft, strengthening its relationship with one of the leading aviation operators in the Philippines.
This new LOI brings the total number of Atea aircraft pre-ordered by PhilJets to 15.
In addition, Ascendance and PhilJets have entered into a strategic partnership to explore how Ascendance’s hybrid electric VTOL can address the challenges of regional air mobility across the Philippine archipelago.
This step in the partnership between Ascendance and PhilJets is part of a French delegation’s tour of Asia, which includes visits to the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
The LOI was signed during a bilateral meeting between the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Department of Transportation in Manila.
