Chapman Freeborn has appointed Vilma Vaitiekunaite as vice president passenger for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Vaitiekunaite joins Chapman Freeborn with over 20 years of experience in commercial aviation, sales, marketing and corporate communications. She previously served as chief executive officer of Skyllence, an international air charter brokerage within Avia Solutions Group, where she focused on customer service and operational delivery.
Prior to leading Skyllence, Vaitiekunaite served as chief communications officer at Avia Solutions Group. In that role, she worked with the group’s chairman and founder, Gediminas Ziemelis, to develop global communications strategies and support international expansion.
Chapman Freeborn operates as part of the Avia Solutions Group providing aviation charter solutions globally. The company targets expansion in international markets through regional leadership appointments and service delivery improvements.
“As we expand our footprint in key international markets, leadership is critical to our continued success,” said Linas Dovydenas, president for India, Middle East and Africa at Chapman Freeborn. “Vilma brings industry knowledge and understanding of the Avia Solutions Group ecosystem. This, combined with her expertise in passenger aviation and dedication to client service, makes her an addition to our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
According to Chapman Freeborn, Vaitiekunaite brings experience in navigating aviation challenges and client service delivery. At Skyllence, she established operational processes focused on accountability and precision while serving corporate executives and government clients.
The Saudi Arabian aviation market represents growth opportunities for charter services as the kingdom expands its aviation infrastructure. Vaitiekunaite will lead passenger charter operations targeting corporate and government clients in the region.
“I’m honored to join Chapman Freeborn and take on this challenge in one of the aviation markets in the world,” said Vaitiekunaite. “Saudi Arabia is undergoing transformation, and I look forward to contributing to that by continuing to deliver tailored, client-focused air charter solutions.”
The appointment supports Chapman Freeborn’s strategy to grow its presence in the Middle East through regional leadership and service-focused operations. The company operates within Avia Solutions Group’s portfolio of aviation service providers targeting international expansion.
