Coronavirus: Vistajet launches jet to yacht service

VistaJet has launched a direct jet-to-yacht service as a safe way to access yachts during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

The charter firm calls the service “the safest way to access yachts” for people who own a yacht, or are planning to charter one and are concerned about how they will reach it.

The service includes flights to Malta, arrival in the VIP lounge and direct transport from the aircraft to the marina. Vistajet will will assist with all of the necessary arrangements to transfer them all the way to their fully-stocked yacht.

The company will handle onboarding stock and yacht handling using local partners and regulations and  safety requirements.

Once booked customers need to sign a Safe Passage agreement accepting that they and their guests will not stop on the way from the jet to the yacht, not leave the yacht while moored, not sail to local islands and disembark. They must also declare their planned yachting route.

While on the aircraft, temperatures will be taken to confirm they are within the authorized limits and crew will provide masks and gloves for arrival. After customs travel to the marina is in a pre-sanitized car.
