France-based RISE has integrated its OPTIRISE fleet optimizer with Skylegs Flight Management System to enable automated data transfer for aviation operators.
The integration allows Skylegs users to feed fleet, crew and operational data directly into OPTIRISE for scenario analysis and fleet utilization optimization. According to RISE, the system eliminates manual data entry processes that delay planning operations.
Max Van Cauwenberghe, chief executive officer at RISE, said the integration adapts to operator workflows. “We’ve built OPTIRISE to adapt to the way operators work, not the other way around,” Van Cauwenberghe said. “By integrating with Skylegs, we’re helping more teams remove repositioning flights, improve crew plans, and make decisions that actually move the needle.”
Maxim Schelfhout, chief executive officer at Skylegs, said the partnership allows specialized optimization capabilities without internal development. “We often get asked to build optimization tools ourselves, but we believe it’s best to leave this to the experts,” Schelfhout said. “Our focus is on giving operators the right ecosystem, and with partners like RISE we stay true to our commitment of reducing waste — in time, resources, and unnecessary flights.”
The collaboration extends RISE’s integration strategy with existing operator tools to reduce optimization complexity. RISE targets European and North American markets where Skylegs maintains an established user base.
OPTIRISE provides fleet and operations optimization capabilities for aviation operators through automated scheduling and planning analysis. Skylegs offers flight management system services to operators globally with established market presence in multiple regions.
The integration represents RISE’s expansion into flight management system partnerships as part of broader market development activities. According to both companies, the partnership focuses on operational efficiency improvements and resource waste reduction.
