UAE-based Falcon has become the first private aviation operator in the region to accept cryptocurrency payments for charter and support services.
Falcon, part of Alex Group Investment, partnered with fintech companies Maaly Pay and Xerime to enable crypto payments across its operations. Customers can pay for private jet charters, maintenance, flight support and fixed-base operator services using cryptocurrency through tap, scan or click payment methods.
The payment system processes transactions within seconds, matching credit card payment speeds. According to Falcon, the system addresses growing global demand for cryptocurrency payment options in international transactions.
Maaly Pay operates under a Dubai Multi Commodities Centre license and runs a decentralized crypto payment ecosystem. The Dubai system uses settlement partners licensed by DMCC and regulated by the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. UAE business payments settle in AED to comply with Central Bank requirements.
Khalifa AlJaziri, co-founder and managing director of Maaly Pay, said the partnership brings secure crypto payment solutions to private aviation. “We are proud to partner with Falcon to bring a truly seamless and secure crypto payment solution to the private aviation industry,” AlJaziri said.
The system enables Falcon Luxe charter passengers to confirm flights instantly from global locations. Falcon Technic maintenance customers can settle invoices without currency exchange complications, while Falcon Flight Support partners access faster cross-border transactions. Falcon Elite fixed-base operator guests can pay for ground handling services using cryptocurrency.
Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, founder and chairman of Alex Group Investment, said the payment option reflects evolving customer preferences. “Our clients trust us with every detail of their journey, and payments should be no different,” Al Shene said. “By working with Maaly Pay and Xerime, we are giving them a payment option that is fast, simple, and secure.”
The partnership positions Falcon as the first UAE private aviation operator to offer comprehensive cryptocurrency payment capabilities across charter, maintenance and ground support operations.
