MedAire has launched Contingency 360, a crisis response service for business aviation crews, flight departments and operators. The service supports irregular operations, medical emergencies, security incidents and other critical events.
Contingency 360 integrates MedAire’s global expertise with GoCrisis capabilities. The partnership combines real-time aircraft movement monitoring, emergency response program management, crisis training, family assistance and access to medical and security specialists.
The system provides continuous aircraft monitoring and instant updates to support decision-making during crises. Emergency Response Program (ERP) management includes customized plans, drills, simulations and ongoing program support.
Training covers crisis management, medical response, security protocols and communication for crews and staff. Family assistance provides coordinated care, timely information and emotional support.
MedAire will introduce its redesigned Advanced Aviation Medical Kit (AAMK) for business aviation at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas. The company developed the updated kit in response to customer feedback to improve accessibility and efficiency during in-flight medical events.
The AAMK organizes contents into three labeled interior bags for first response, bandages and medication. Within each bag, contents are arranged alphabetically in individual pouches for faster identification.
Updated content cards provide detailed descriptions and clarify the location of each item. The company did not disclose pricing or availability dates for the redesigned kit.
MedAire has become an affinity partner of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). The company offers NBAA members 10% savings on its Talk to a Peer mental health support services.
MedAire introduced Talk to a Peer in 2024 in collaboration with OdiliaClark. The program provides peer support for mental health and wellbeing for aviation professionals.
“With Contingency 360, MedAire continues its legacy of safeguarding people, operations, and reputations—ensuring business aviation operators can return to safe, normal operations as quickly and effectively as possible,” said Bill Dolny, chief executive officer of MedAire.
