Sheltair has selected ARGUS International’s TRAQPak system for aircraft activity analysis and operational planning across its fixed-base operator (FBO) network. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida company previously used the platform and has returned to the service.
TRAQPak FBO provides aircraft arrival and departure information based on serial number-specific data for instrument flight rules (IFR) flights in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and parts of Mexico and the Caribbean. The platform combines business aviation databases with air traffic control (ATC) aircraft movement data and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) position data.
The system analyzes real-time activity and historical trends to support operational planning decisions. Sheltair will use TRAQPak for day-to-day operations at each FBO location and for corporate-level support and analysis.
“We have been fortunate to work with the Sheltair network for many years. During that time, they have built an formidable network across the country and we are thrilled to have them back with TRAQPak FBO,” said Travis Kuhn, senior vice president of software at ARGUS International.
The platform provides market intelligence reporting tools for FBO operators. Features include aircraft operations tracking, awareness reporting and ground tracking capabilities.
“We are excited to be partnering with TRAQPak as our flight tracking system of choice throughout all of our Sheltair locations. This will help us to improve our efficiency from an operational standpoint as well as assist in staying ahead of our customers experience. With the help of TRAQPak Sheltair will be ready for every arrival,” said Leonel Rivera, senior vice president of operations at Sheltair.
Sheltair will use the platform to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities. The system provides insight into aircraft traffic patterns and operational data.
“Switching to TRAQPak elevates how we analyze market trends and spot new opportunities. It gives us clearer insight into who’s flying where and helps guide growth for Sheltair. I’m especially excited about an upcoming feature that will make it easier to identify and reach piston-traffic leads, strengthening how we connect with future customers,” said Crystal Starner, marketing data analyst at Sheltair.
ARGUS International, based in Bloomfield, New Jersey, provides aviation intelligence and software services. Sheltair operates FBO facilities across the United States.
The companies did not disclose implementation timelines or contract terms. Sheltair did not specify which aircraft tracking system it used before returning to TRAQPak.
