CAE has launched eLearning modules for business aviation in partnership with Advanced Aircrew Academy. The collaboration enables customers to consolidate their training programs with a single provider.

The Montreal-based company will offer approximately 70 courses developed by subject matter experts and updated regularly. Advanced Aircrew Academy’s courseware integrates into CAE’s existing eLearning platform.

The modules initially support operators under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. CAE plans to expand the program to meet regulatory requirements in North America, Europe and Asia.

The company structured the offering into three tiers: Core programs meet FAA and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, Plus programs serve corporate flight department operators, and Pro programs target charter and on-demand operators. Each tier addresses specific operational requirements and regulatory compliance needs.

“We’re always looking to improve our customers’ experience by making the training process as convenient as possible,” said Timothy Schoenauer, senior director of global business aviation training solutions at CAE. “Through this partnership with Advanced Aircrew Academy, we are adding to our library to offer our customers modules, simplifying the back-end administration, and providing them with one end-to-end training provider. We will also be offering specialized eLearning training packages for the Americas, Europe and Asia, making it easy for operators to identify the courses their pilots need to take.”

CAE customers can select programs based on their operational requirements. The platform simplifies administrative tasks by centralizing course management and tracking.

“Advanced Aircrew Academy is proud to collaborate with CAE on this initiative,” said Jordan Huibers, co-chief executive officer of Advanced Aircrew Academy. “CAE customers will now benefit from approximately 70 advanced and integrated eLearning courses, developed by subject matter experts and updated regularly, elevating established training programs and enhancing safety.”

Advanced Aircrew Academy operates as a certified Program Support Affiliate of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). The company maintains more than 125 courses supporting FAA and global regulatory requirements for commercial and private operators.

CAE provides training and simulation solutions for aviation professionals, airlines, business aviation operators, and defense personnel. The company employs approximately 13,000 people at around 240 sites in over 40 countries.
