Aviation fintech platform Goodwin Company has acquired STACK.aero, a business operations platform for charter brokers, operators and corporate flight departments, combining operational and financial technology across the charter lifecycle.
The acquisition brings together STACK.aero’s aviation-specific CRM, sourcing and trip management tools with Goodwin’s AI-based workflows, banking integrations and automated financial operations. A central focus is reducing risk in charter payment flows, with Goodwin’s platform holding client funds in separate, client-titled bank accounts distinct from brokerage operating funds.
“By combining our technologies with Goodwin’s banking-service integrations, we have an opportunity to make the entire journey, from the first conversation to final reconciliation, simpler and more connected,” said Tolga Demirel, co-founder of Goodwin Company.
STACK.aero will continue as its own product and brand within the Goodwin ecosystem. Founder Greg Jarrett remains as CEO with the existing team in place. Current STACK.aero customers can continue using the platform with no required migration.
“STACK.aero was built by aviation veterans who understood that brokers and operators needed technology purpose-built for the way this industry actually operates,” said Jarrett. “Goodwin shares that understanding and brings complementary financial technology and payment capabilities to the table.”
