ExecuJet Haite’s maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at Tianjin Binhai International Airport has obtained bonded maintenance approval, allowing the centre to provide maintenance services for foreign-registered business aircraft.
The bonded area covers ExecuJet Haite’s facility. Under bonded maintenance, aircraft spare parts, materials and equipment imported from overseas remain duty-free while stored and used within the bonded area. This reduces customers’ tax exposure, simplifies customs procedures and shortens lead times for components.
“This new status satisfies the demand of our international clients,” said Paul Desgrosseilliers, general manager of ExecuJet Haite. “While 60 percent of our work is for China-registered aircraft, 40 percent comes from a diverse international clientele. The bonded zone directly addresses their needs by significantly reducing costs and accelerating turnaround times.”
ExecuJet Haite is a wholly owned subsidiary of China’s Haite Group. The facility is a Gulfstream, Embraer and Dassault Falcon Jet authorized service centre and is certified to maintain Bombardier aircraft.
