Private aviation provider Magellan Jets has launched a fractional ownership program offering shares in Bombardier Challenger 850 aircraft through partnership with Slate Aviation.
Magellan Jets has introduced a fractional ownership program for Bombardier Challenger 850 aircraft. The program operates through a joint venture with Slate Aviation, which operates the largest fleet of Challenger 850 aircraft in the United States.
The fractional ownership option joins Magellan Jets’ existing services of jet cards, on-demand charter flights, and aircraft sales and management. The program targets clients in the Northeast and Southeast United States with routes covering the US, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Share packages begin at 60 hours annually for three-year terms. The program includes guaranteed repurchase terms and provisions for unused and excess hours.
The Challenger 850 accommodates up to 19 passengers with a full galley and expanded luggage capacity. According to Magellan Jets, the aircraft features new interiors designed for business travelers, families, and passengers requiring additional storage space.
Slate Aviation provides flight attendants, catering, refreshments, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity for program flights. The partnership allows Magellan Jets to offer the service without direct aircraft ownership through its operator network.
