Universal Aviation has unveiled a new global brand, Affinity Aviation, at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a major rebrand for the Evans family-owned FBO and ground support business after more than 65 years of operation.
The company will transition from Universal Aviation to Affinity Aviation across its network of more than 75 locations in over 20 countries throughout 2027. The Evans family will continue to own and lead the business.
“Affinity represents where we are taking this business next,” said Greg Evans, managing principal of Evans Family Office. “At its core, Affinity is about the genuine, personal care we have always had for our customers and their missions. The same people and relationships our customers know are behind the brand, but Affinity reflects our ambition to build on that foundation and continue leading our segment of the industry for decades to come.”
The rebrand comes during a period of significant infrastructure investment. Recent developments include the opening of Saudi Arabia’s first dedicated general aviation terminal in Dammam, with Jeddah and Riyadh locations to follow; construction of Spain’s first dedicated GA hangar at Madrid-Barajas Airport; the inauguration of a 362,000sq ft (33,658sq m) FBO complex in Guadalajara, Mexico; and a new FBO in Samana, Dominican Republic.
The brand was developed through a process led by Sarah Evans, principal of Evans Family Office. “Affinity came from the idea that exceptional ground support is personal,” she said. “It starts with understanding the mission, knowing what matters to the customer and bringing the right people together to make everything work.”
During the transition period, Universal Aviation and Affinity Aviation may appear together at certain locations. Customers will be contacted in advance of changes affecting operational information or billing.
