AERO Friedrichshafen will expand its business aviation offering for its 2027 edition (April 14-17), with organizers confirming a dedicated two-and-a-half-day program for business aviation exhibitors and the launch of Air Charter Expo Regional, a European edition of the UK-based charter industry trade show.
Air Charter Expo Regional will be hosted in Hall A1 in collaboration with the Air Charter Association (ACA) and Business Air News, bringing together charter companies, brokers and manufacturers. The annual Air Charter Expo is organized by the ACA and Business Air News and hosted by London Biggin Hill Airport.
“The time is right to introduce the first regional edition of the show,” said Glenn Hogben, chief executive of the ACA. “AERO is the perfect host for Air Charter Expo Regional, offering members and industry partners the opportunity to network and build new connections in Europe.”
The business aviation program, comprising Hall A1 and the Business Aviation Dome, will run from April 14-16. Both exhibition areas will be expanded from 2026, with Hall A1 gaining its own entrance and an upgraded conference stage.
AERO 2026 attracted 37,000 visitors and 860 exhibitors, with more than 50 business jets and turboprops on display and on-site aircraft orders estimated at US$500 million. Over 70 exhibitors from the 2026 edition have already confirmed participation for 2027.
Show director Tobias Bretzel said: “Further developing AERO generally and the AERO Business Aviation Show Hub, in collaboration with our industry partners, is our top priority.”
Organizers have also appointed aviation PR agency Emerald Media, led by Alison Chambers, to support international communications for the show.
