FAI rent a jet has added a Bombardier Global 6000 to its fleet. The aircraft marks FAI’s sixth Global Express and brings its total business jet fleet to 17. The aircraft will be available for corporate charter from mid-February 2026.
Originally configured for Vistajet, the Global 6000 was subsequently delivered to a corporate owner. The aircraft features a metallic-painted exterior, handmade cabinetry and hand-stitched cream leather seats. The three-zone cabin includes a large galley and can accommodate up to 14 passengers.
The Global 6000 has a range of 6,000 nautical miles (11,112 kilometres).
“We are thrilled to add this exceptional Global 6000 to our fleet which we believe will be popular with our charter clients,” said Siegfried Axtmann, founder and chairman of FAI. “The acquisition was completed in just six weeks from contract signing, including an extensive pre-purchase inspection at BAS in Singapore over the Christmas and New Year period.”
The newly acquired Global 6000 will assume the registration D-AXTM following the sale of FAI’s previous Global Express (MSN 9102) in 2023. FAI has operated Global Express aircraft since 2010.
In 2025, FAI’s five Bombardier BD-700 Global Express aircraft recorded more than 5,500 hours of airtime, achieving an occupancy rate of 85 percent.
FAI rent a jet is based in Germany and provides business aviation services including charter operations.
